Without further guilding of the lily and no more ado....

So! It has I am afraid been far too long since i last participated in my own blog page!
Shameful behaviour on my part and there is really no excuse for it apart from that i have really had nothing to talk about! my life since new year has been one long slob-fest! t.v , films (as you all know i am fanatical about film - if not a little annoying when watching them - sorry guys!) and coffees (or rather 'herbal teas' due to the old tummy, but somehow 'herbal teas with friends' doesnt have the same ring to it as coffee!) with all my various Bath mates in the best cafe in town 'Cafe Retro' - oh yeah!
It has actually been really great seeing everyone again although the staff of Retro now seem to know me by name (???) and the finances are taking a bit of a toll now especially after today when my friend sarah (who some of you have met- a hatfielder from durham, lives in Bath) and Aileen(also from durham living in bath, tho 2nd yr-Mary's -woohoo!) and myself set out on a much planned shopping spree to London...which after a few days turned in to Cardiff...and was eventually and brutally axed to be simply Bristol! However despite a disasterous start, (chiefly -yours-truly not waking up in time for the train despite 3 alarms) a good time was had by all and considerable money was spent...however only on items truly 'NEEDED'!(Hmmmm, need to work on that line a bit i think!) So when i return to uni whilst you will all assume Nicolas new items are, very economically borrowed off absent sibling, mine are all most definatly, and shamefully purchased, despite my repeated mantra of "No!You are a poor student! do you REALLY NEED that?" However in my defence - it would look slightly strange if i borrowed either of my siblings cloths, as one is13 and the other24...oh yeah and they're both boys! slight problem now tho cos, as many of you know, i have to fly back to uni on the 15th and my dilema is that easyjet only allows 20kg weight! i was slightly over on returning home and had to deposit several items in a very lovely friends suitcase! however on returning to durham after extensive shopping with relatives Christmas money as well as christmas presents, i now probably have an extra 5 kg added to the already bulging luggage...hmmm!any ideas??
Well then this has been kind of an essay so without further guilding of the lily and with no more ado i will say... good bye and goodnight!(isn't that from a game show?!)

Good evidence there of reading my blog fi!! I am happy to hear someone else has been slobbing around as much as I have but I think i may be the champion slobber, I have done a Lord of the Rings marathon over 1 and a half days (it needs that much, you'd have to get up early to fit it into 1 day!)(I also found it extra amusing to this time round, the first time you get caught up in the films but now I just crack up when they try so hard to create suspense and a mystical feeling e.g. 'the stars are vieled, something is stirring in the east') and have also done a p&p marathon over 2 days, I haven't seen the light of day for ages! I have not yet mastered the art of putting pictures on my blog! See you soon fi! love ya lots! Nic xxx

i know what you could do, hire a herd of elephants, they're well strong, and then tie all your stuff to their backs and send them off to durham! you can follow on the plane with nothing but the bare essentials. im sure you'd get your stuff by easter!
lol, shopping is necessary though even if we are poor students! xxx
