On friday night the inhabitants of House 'Musgrave' (aka Annika, Helen Burbage and Naomi) decended on the house Greencroft for a posh dinner of Fajita's, fizzy jelly (which Heather made but was just like my daddy's!) and Pavlova which was a triumph from helen! The reason for this slap-up meal was because that night was the Informal Ball at Mary's. An INformal ball? basically the concept is the same as the midsummer ball but the theme is more fancy dress and (surprisesurprise) informal. Last Year's Ball which I couldn't go to had the theme of "Happily Ever After" and the theme for this year's was "A Night at the Movies". A chance to dress up glam or silly depending on your mood.
Our house all decided to dress as silly (ish) characters. We had....

So those are the characters. The night also included a big Band and bouncy entertainments such as A castle with a ball pool and an inflatable Gladiator ring! All good fun! It was a really fun night and as always the dressing up and dancing was the best part. Here are some more pictures of the night...
