Home for a particularly long summer!

Ok the photos for some reason didnt get published for my last entry, eh well just log onto amies blog and u can see them anyways (www.amiedyre.blogspot.com - i really need to work out those link things!)

So, first year is over. (Boo Sob!) The long journey back to the west country went smoothly, or rather, as smoothly as it can with my mother in the car! Some of the dramas of the journey included my dearest ol'mum nearly choking to death on a paracetamol tablet, and then throwing half a bottle of water over herself and my dad in her fits of coughing! Very amusing to behold, especially when my dad was trying frantically not to get wet trousers from sitting on the puddle collecting on his seat by raising himself up whilst still attempting to drive! Very amusing parents I have!

Now home however, I have had the obligatory teary ten minuets crying in my kitchen for the loss of my Durham! I get this every time i come home and I never really know why. Its wierd cos i am so glad to be home with my family but at the smae time I have lost my Durham family for a while, and this makes me quite sad!
Anyway, I watched DrWho, had a lush BBQ in my garden in the glorious summer sunshine here in the south and am about to settle down with a film in my bed.
Tomorrow I will begin the mammoth task of unpaking my life into my very small and already full room here at home!
So untill later, (Roll on those summer days in the Royal Cresent!) i will say Adeui my friends!

Hehe sounds like you had quite the eventful journey home! The reason I'm up so early is that I'm going to finish my packing now and then start my own marathon back to the South woo yeah! Although I too will be sad to leave and am missing you all already! But have no fear, I will be descending on the South West at some point!

Much love

Yo ffi! your journey home sounds like something out of a film! I still think it's a rather amusing thought that people roam around on the royal cresent with quite a few items of clothing missing and that's what the queen has to look forward as her view from her hotel! LOL! Many royal waves, Nic xxx
